NDLE

Privacy Policy

Effective 21 September 2026

What NDLE stores

The things you capture (title, time, steps, done/not done), your work and quiet hours, and — if you allow it — daily step and sleep totals from Health Connect or HealthKit, used only to estimate your energy for the day.

Google data

With your permission NDLE reads your Google Calendar events for the next two weeks and writes the quests you give a time. With the Google Tasks permission it reads and writes one task list named "NDLE · Side Quests." NDLE never reads Gmail, Drive, contacts, or any other Google data.

NDLE's use and transfer of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.

Where it lives

On your device first (offline-first database), synced to a private Supabase project in the United States that only your signed-in account can read. Short text snippets (a captured sentence, a quest title) are sent to Anthropic's API to break a task into steps or to answer you in chat, and to Speechify's API to read a line aloud. None of these providers are permitted to use your data to train models.

What NDLE never does

No ads. No selling or sharing of data. No tracking across apps. No counting of streaks or missed days.

Your control

"Start fresh" in Settings deletes every capture. Disconnecting Google in Settings, or at myaccount.google.com/permissions, removes NDLE's access. Email jason@ndle.org to have your account and all server data deleted.
